My Creative Chronicles
From Spotlighting East African Batikers to curating properties, each pursuit is inspired by a passion for creativity, growth, and connection:
Architect, Author, YouTuber, Podcaster, BBC TV show contestant

Through my journey, I’ve had the privilege of exploring creativity across diverse fields—competing as a contestant on the global TV show, the BBC Great British Sewing Bee, Season 10, guiding artisans and entrepreneurs to transform their passions into thriving businesses with my book, From Passion to Prorit: Artisans + Creative Entrepreneurs, Building Together, managing properties with a storytelling touch that fosters spaces for thriving communities through Dovetailed Stays Ltd, and hosting a podcast called Made Creative Show dedicated to empowering others on their creative paths. Each endeavour reflects my deep belief in using our unique gifts to inspire, connect, and create lasting impact.

Weaving Worlds & Empowering Creativity
From Ugandan Threads to Global Dreams
My story unfolds amidst the vibrant tapestry of East Africa. Uganda, my homeland, is where my creative spirit first bloomed, nurtured by the rich tapestry of culture and resourcefulness that surrounded me. Driven by a relentless curiosity, I embarked on a journey across borders, each step fueling a passion for exploration and a hunger for knowledge in the creative world.
A thirst for architectural knowledge led me to Tanzania and a master's degree in Urban Management in Germany. Each thread has enriched my perspective, fostering a deep appreciation for collaboration and the power of creative exchange.

From Mompreneur to Design Visionary
Today, the UK forms the backdrop of my life, where I navigate the vibrant world of "mompreneurship" – a balancing act I manage with a smile. My travels and diverse experiences have stitched together a unique perspective, one that recognises the immense potential that flourishes when creative minds come together.
Letasi Design Studio: A Bridge Between Continents
Letasi Design Studio, a project spanning both the UK and Uganda, (and indeed East Africa) is my personal tapestry. It has allowed me to showcase the skill and dedication of talented artisans and creatives within the region - empowering them to share their stories with the world. Here, my dedication to fostering collaboration and supporting individual creative journeys finds its expression.

The Sewing Bee: A Stitch in Time
Recently, a new thread was woven into my story – my participation in the Great British Sewing Bee. This experience allowed me to share my love for textiles and design with a wider audience. But for me, it was also a celebration of the collaborative spirit that fuels all my creative pursuits.
Beyond the Fabric: A Commitment to Uplifting Communities
My passion for East Africa extends beyond beautiful fabrics and intricate patterns. I believe in the transformative power of creative expression and the economic opportunities it can create. Supporting creatives isn't just about aesthetics; it's about empowering individuals, and communities, nurturing cultural heritage, and fostering a brighter future where creativity thrives.
Embracing the Journey
This is my story, a continuous thread weaving together artistic expression, a thirst for knowledge, and a commitment to uplifting the vibrant creative communities of East Africa. My journey isn't just about me; it's about connecting cultures, celebrating diverse skills, and empowering others to embrace their creativity. I believe that when we weave our talents together, we create something truly remarkable.

Welcome to my corner of the creative world.
Let's weave something beautiful together!
